With no end in sight for the COVID-19 pandemic, actress Lauren Young opted to stay safe and celebrate her 27th birthday with just a small group of people.

On Instagram, the versatile actress shared some of her thoughts on marking this special occasion.

Lauren noted that even though this year's celebration was quite different, she definitely felt the love of everyone who loves her deeply.

“My birthday this year was spent with a small group of people who mattered so much to me, which is very different than how I usually spend it.

“Thank you for the surprise video (which I'll upload next week!) I felt all the love from my family and friends even if we couldn't be together physically. Heres to 27!!!!!!!”
